I am as a visual artist, a painter and a sculpturer, and have been working since my
childhood.
I started a serious methodical studying of art at the age of 16 in the
University of Art and Design in Helsinki. My studies continued until
1975 and one extra year 1976.
I am using the conventional oil painting technique on canvas and on wood.
I also use wood and plywood for sculptures and larger figures. I do
space sculptures (interior and exterior space) which are usually
exhibited at summer exhibitions.
Works are as varying as are my ways of working as is the use of my
colours and different materials. Meticulously studied strong colours
form an integral and harmonious entity. My motifs project my inner
images which are ideal in activating the spectator's mind.
New exhibitions are coming, as well as new paintings and sculptures.
