Linear design
I am building a linear amplifier for 160m - 10m. Here I will explain what I am
doing and why. So far the design is only in my head but some of the main
features will be:
- GU84 capable of more than 1.5kW out key down
- RF-deck and power pack separate for flexibility
- vacuum capacitors in the pi-filter, stepping motor driven
- timing circuits for switch on/off
- heater stabilized 26V 4A DC
- high-voltage variable 2000-3500V
