A Word About the Recipe Archive  [Last update 1999-07-24]

I've been collecting recipes from various lists for about 2 1/2 years now. There are nearly 20000 files lying on my harddisk which have to be edited and modified to suit the needs of the archive search engines.

So far a little over 5000 messages have been processed and 1600 of them are listed online.

My target is to finish editing by mid august. Then I should have roughly 4000 recipes in the archive as a result of direct editing. After discarding multiple entries and reformatting several thousands of mails the total amount may reach upto 6000 or 7000 recipes.
