Search terms

You may define as many terms as you wish. Total word length should not exceed 80.
The words should be separated with a space between them.
Please note that the more words you use the more time it'll take to process search.

Category

Category selection "All recipes" produces searches in each of the sub category.
Multiple selection is supported.

Boolean

If you use more than one search term, you could define how to use those words in the search.
Boolean variable "AND" - all of the terms have to present in data or there will not be a match.
Boolean variable "OR" - there will be a match if any of the defined terms is present in data.

E.g. Boolean "OR", terms "apple pie":
     * The robot will match all headers that contain either
     "apple" OR "pie" like "Apple pie", "Blueberry pie", "Pie dough".

     Boolean "AND", terms "apple pie":
     * The robot will match all headers that contain BOTH
     "apple" AND "pie" like "Apple pie", "Blueberry and apple pie".

Case

Case selection refers to letter size. "Insensitive" will make matches whether search data is in capitals or not. "Sensitive" will also take in consideration possible capital letters in headers.

E.g. "Insensitive" BIG steak -> possible matches "big steak", "BIG steak",
                                 "BiG steak", "BIg steak" etc.
     "Sensitive"   BIG pihvi -> will match only headers that include
                                    "BIG steak".

Headers

You may choose header language order. Headers can be displayed in English, in Finnish or combine both: English/Finnish or Finnish/English.

Recipe types

Most of the recipes have been categorized according to specific dietary information or according to recipe type criteria.

• Lactose free
• Gluten free
• Low Calorie
  • Includes also low fat or low energy recipes.
• Artificially sweetened
• Vegan
  • Mushrooms may be used in recipes (fungi-vegan).
• Eggless
• Ethnic
• Lacto-ovovegetarian

You could do specific searches by using Power search functions.

Some of the recipes, especially the first ones, may not be defined according to these specifications, so if you encounter any of them, or any mistakes in recipes general, please send feedback.

Amount

Amount is the maximum how many results will be displayed on a single result page.

Order

The archive is made in a chronological order (i.e. date order). You may choose between alphabetical and chronological order when displaying the results.

Choices

If you wish to list only selected recipe types, choose "Only selected".

E.g. choose "Lactose free" and "Gluten free" to list only lactose and gluten free recipes in selected category.

If you choose "At least selected", you may define the recipe types that at least have been specified in this category.

E.g. click on "Lactose free" and "Gluten free" to list recipes that have been defined as lactose and gluten free. The robot will also display recipes that are lactose and gluten free but the recipes that contain possible other definitions such as vegan.

Recipe type

There is also on option to define certain recipe type criteria when listing recipes. You could choose the "Desserts" category and list only the recipes that are lactose free or vegetarian dishes that are ethnic.
