OUR TEACHER TULKU PEMA WANGYAL RINPOCHE
Rinpoche lives in Dordogne in France, where he is the head of the Association du Centre d'Etudes de Chanteloube www.chanteloube.asso.fr, which organizes Buddhist courses and education, for example traditional three-year retreats. The place is also known for an active group of translators, who have translated numerous books www.padmakara.org. Rinpoche visited Finland for the first time in 1994. He gave lectures and donated a Buddhist script collection to the University of Helsinki. In 2000 Rinpoche founded a study group in Helsinki. He teaches in Finland regularly. Under his leadership the first stupa was finished in Siikainen in Finland in September 2001.
