My name is Tani Höyhtyä. I graduated from the Faculty of Forestry, University of Joensuu, Finland in December 1992. Since then I have been working in various duties. To mention few of them:
  • Real estate agent (Helsinki, Finland)
  • MS Office sofware trainer (Helsinki, Finland)
  • Temporary teacher in primary and secondary schools (Helsinki, Finland)
  • Research Assistant in the University of Helsinki, Finland
  • Consultant in the field of Remote Sensing and Resource Assessment (in Imatra and in Helsinki, Finland)
  • Over four years experience in international assignments,  (Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kenya)
Since the beginning of 1997 until end of July 2003 I working for  Stora Enso Forest Consulting. Of which in international assignments approximately four years, mainly in Indonesia and Malaysia. During my latest assignment abroad, I was working for company called PT. Finnantara Intiga in Indonesia, West-Kalimantan. Company rules over 36 000 hectares of fast growing pulpwood plantations. As a Director of Wood Production I had an overall responsibility of plantation establishment and tending activities. Since the beginning of August 2003, I have been working for Stora Enso Metsä  in a beginning as a Procurement Supervisor in Southern Finland Procurement Region, currently as Information Systems Superintendent.
