Soldiers is a freeware action game for Power Macintosh. In the game you are a soldier, whose job is to kick some ass. Missions take you into various locations, such as rainforrests, deserts and arctic lands. It's your mission to kick the crap out of aliens and to survive. Weapons include fists, uzis, minigun, bazooka and flamethrower.

The player can edit the graphics, sounds and levels of the game. This way the user can create scenarios of his own. Currently the game is in beta stage and I have no idea when the final version will come out (if ever).

New version (1.2) is out with lots more editability; you can edit the values of items; create/edit effects, primitive enemies and animals; add level backgrounds; edit guns and their values.

I have decided to distribute Soldiers as a freeware since no one would register it anyway. I just hope people like it the way it is, with all it's limitations especially in AI. However, you can easily turn it into something very different. Into a space arcade for example, if you will.

Beta 1.2 is now available for download. Click here to download it (about 2.3 MB).
