Terttu shawl
You can use what ever yarn and needle size you want to. The red shawl above is knit using 5 mm needles and it is 87 cm high, 192 cm wide and weighs 160 grams. After chart 1 chart 2 is repeated 13 times. The yarn is something very old from my stash and I unfortunately don't know what it is, but for sure there is wool in it.
Cast on 4 stitches and continue as follows:
![]() After these three rows continue from chart 1. Purl all wrong side (even) rows, except double yarn overs, which you knit the first one and purl the second one. After you have purled row 30, continue from chart 2. Repeat the 14 rows of the chart 2 till your shawl is big enough. Repeat 2 B in the middle as many times as needed. Knit 6 rows garter stitch and cast off stitches.
