Eppu

1995 - 2004

Eppu was a mixed breed stray kitten, that found his way to the summer cottage of Jussi's parents. It never became known what his story was. He became a cat full of temperament. Eppu liked to "talk", and greeted family and visitors very passionately. He always chose when people could pet him. Eppu also loved high places, to run around the house and to hunt. When taken outside in a collar and leash, he climbed trees and examined places.

Eppu moved to live with Tuomas and Mirva Linnake in 2002 after Elina got asthma. He was loved all his life, even with his sometimes troublesome habits. In 2004 Eppu became ill and suffered a drastic loss of weight - he was thin to start with, full of muscle, and now became a very sorry sight. He was taken care of by a local vet, who was unable to diagnose anything specific. First he seemed to cope, but then fell ill again. Eventually he needed to be put down.
