This is my eclectic, run-of-the-mill personal homepage. It is relatively spartan for various reasons. First, I have no desire to make a fancy page that would prove unloadable to people who do not have extrasuperhyper-ASDL plugins and thingamagics. Second, I have other things to do.Who am I?
Well, let's not become philosophical. Only the facts. Big (198 cm, 140 kg), bald, due to alopecia. Eventually there was so little hair left on my dome I decided to shave the rest off.Not enough?
Born in Boxing Day 1967. Sometimes rather opinionated. I am also wet sceptic, agnostic, anticlerical and antipolitical. And, according to some systems, 5w4 and/or INTP.What do I do?
Well, as of this writing, I am writing (and reading, of course).
But most of the time I am writing - about science fiction, roleplaying games and recently about planet-building. Among other things. So far almost all of it has been in Finnish. But freelancing does not pay much.
Enough of my problems. Let me present my interests:
Astronomy:
Majority of this universe is literally out of this world. Althought I do not believe in UFOs (as far as I am concerned, they are modern analogies to leprechaun) I do think that it would be extremely unlikely (and hideously humanocentric) that there would be no other kind of life in this universe. In order to understand the present, you must know the past. And reading about history, I have found that truth really can be stranger than fiction. Of course, you cannot learn everything from general history books - they mention only victories and large-scale action.Books

From the past to the speculation of the future. Unfortunately, most of what the public considers science fiction is of low quality or concerned with special effects instead of a story. In TV there's only Babylon 5 (which is not 157% perfect, either). Therefore, I am more or less concentrated on the hardcopies.Comics
There are comic books that definitely are not for children. Unfortunately, most of what I would like to read have been cancelled or otherwise dropped out of the picture (sometimes literally). But some do remain...Roleplaying
I assume that many people who see this page already know that roleplaying is not analogous to devil worship. I have noticed that it is impossible to convince religious fanatics anyway. Fortunately the Finnish church has displayed its tolerant side in this matter.
For the information of others; There is no computer roleplaying games in a true sense of the word. Magic: The Sickening and other collective card games (CCGs) are not roleplaying games (and most of them do not even claim to be, to be honest).
The latest campaing I've been running has been in Glorantha.My Own? I do have my own projects but most of these are not yet suitable for public consumption.
