Telecommunications Road Map

The initial project in 2005 was a major part of a support programme by The World Bank to the Government of Fiji in designing a Road Map for telecommunications sector reform, aiming at introduction of competition in the sector and abolishing the exclusive rights in the existing telecommunications licences. The project continued in 2006 supporting implementation of the Road Map.

Nepal

Specialised Policy Advice PS - 2

PS - 2 was a project supporting the Nepalese Ministry of Information and Communications in updating the telecommunications policy of Nepal. The project also included preliminary drafting of primary legislation.
