May 25, 2005: Antitank.co.uk have stolen my antitank rifle article and illegally placed it on their website as if it were their own. What a gang of crooks! Read more here: Copyright Infringement of My Antitank Rifle Article
November 23, 2004: Added an after action report for Welcome to Hell, scenario 1. If you're planning to take part in my Play By E-Mail game please note that I've had to postpone it's planned continuation to 2005.
September 2, 2001: Added articles on early Russian and Soviet hand grenades, a Soviet armored shield and the Bofors anti-tank gun to the
Weapons page. A big thanks to the Finnish Armour Museum for their kind permission to publish the Bofors pictures on the Net.
October 12, 2000: This is the first major update in about a year. Added articles on Maxim type machine guns, Djakonov rifle grenades, the SVT-38 rifle and DT machine gun to the Weapons page. Special thanks to J. Hartikka for his excellent pictures, many of which now grace these pages. Also a thanks for everyone who have sent me comments, I've greatly appreciated them. This web site was created for wargamers but it seems many gun collectors too read the articles. As a wargamer I'm no expert on any of the hardware described here - I've simply used the sources listed, which do include a number of official wartime manuals not available in English, and tried to get a feel of how the equipment was used in the field.
