Like we all know, the harsh reality of doing things diy, also means a lot of uncertainty, and again we have faced some unnecessary trouble booking this one week tour on the first week of march...we threw a lot of baits in the water early on, but most of them came out as just empty promises and nice words in the end... http://www.fullsteamrecords.com/jaakkojay.html In the other news, Eric, our beloved bass player and one of the founding fathers of this band has decided to call it a day. We bid him farewell and wish all the best with his new endeavors. So long and thanks for all the years, it was a blast!

Touched By Tragedy And our full length, yes, it's finally happening. The vinyl is at the pressing plant and it should be out in a few weeks. It's going to rock on 2 color 12" with some really nice gatefold covers. Supo, Roku, Hockey Champ and Auto Mobile Drive music are putting this thing out, so it should be available all over pretty soon too. And I'll try to get a paypal order form up and running on our myshait page. The CD release might take a month or so to come out, but when it does, it's going to be out on a variety of different continents of the world. Should be a nice digipak deal that one. Usually bands tend to have their leftovers released after the full length, but we wanted to turn that upside down and start from the bottom up. This song was recorded last summer, then forgotten, and then revisited a month ago when Ile sang his vocals on it. The song is called People Sück and its kinda different and pretty fookin' good too. It's going to be released on a compilation later this year. The full length is getting there, mixing / processing is going forward on a steady pace. Should be done during the summer then we'll start to sell ourselves and hopefully are fortunate enough to have someone release this beast.. We're not going to be able to go on tour this year afterall, but we have some shows in the works for the fall. Should be a busy year anyways. In the other news, Ile & Ile, with the help of Suvi, will perform as an acoustic trio on the 12th of June @ Totti in Järvenpää. Should be cheap. Ile will debut his guitar skills and we'll do one totally new Hyvärinen / Tuominen original together with some of our favorite songs dating back to the good old nineties, and a couple of not so old hits + few acoustic lgw numbers as well.
