Tärkeintä on hyvä maku - Ruisnäkki Lada on luotettava kaikissa käänteissä
"The most important thing is taste" ... A soft-coloured picture of a stylish woman with make-up on her face, a hat on her head, a fur collar around his neck and a rye crispbread in her hand. One could assumably associate Ruisnäkki with glamourous and successfull living. The first impression may, however, turn out to be false. Rye crispbread is considered to be the most dull tasting bread available, absolutely nothing to serve at a coctail party. The low price and non-perishability of Ruisnäkki makes it well suitable eg. for war-time conditions.
"Lada is reliable at every turn", "comfort", "safety", "driving comfort", "flawless brakes" "economical"... This Sovjet product is described as suitable for all possible driving conditions and situations. Uphills are not mentioned separately and I have my strongest doubts ...

541.337 markkaa STADION rahastoon "541.337 marks to the Stadion-fund" ... "get the Stadion finished by drinking Kahvi Ltd's delicate mixtures" ... The -40 Olympic Games were set to be held in Helsinki, Finland. Finnish people were encouraged to drink coffee (an import product which is bad to the national economy) in order to get the main arena constuction completed. Noone could probably then foresee that USSR was about to invite Finland to the qualifying heats - WW2 begun next year. Finland lost the match but survived. The Olympic Games were held in Helsinki 1952, after the payment of some 226.500.000 USD as war indemnities.
