About myself

Biography

I was born in the city of Rauma, Finland, on September 21st 1983. After graduating from high school in 2002 I moved to Pori to study Media & Communications at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences. As a fresh Bachelor of Culture and Arts I got my first permanent job in Pori where I stayed for another 5 years.

Due to a new job I moved to Kerava in the capital region in late 2012. So far I've gained over 6 years of experience working in IT business. I currently work as Web Designer at Information Centre of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland in Helsinki.

I have always been keen on drawing and ever since our first computer (Macintosh LC back in 1991) I've been interested in digital graphics and all things related. I have long history of designing and building websites and that is something I do in my profession as well (ask me for some work samples!).

As a hobby I enjoy outdoor sports, such as running and bicycling, photography, travelling, movies, numismatics etc. I've also done some programming and you can see some of the things I've made on the Other stuff page.
