The center of the fishing area is the Koskentila Estate. It is an over 100-year-old traditional Finnish farm completely renovated and dedicated for serious fishermen. The Koskentila Estate consists of ten different buildings and the surrounding land and has true historical and scenic value.
In the main building there is a café, a kiosk and a reception where you can buy fishing permits and hire a boat or fishing equipment. The livingroom for the guests is a huge log room with a massive original oven and open fire. Meals are served in this authentic milieu. In the reception room there is also a library with books and magazines about fishing and the statistics of catches.

Accommodation is in the small old log cabins around the main building. They have only modest conveniences; heating and lightnig with electricity and a drying cupboard for wet clothes.
Six of the cabins are furnished with six beds and one cabin is a suite for two with antique furniture.
Saunas, showers and toilets are in a separate building. One sauna has also got an open fire in the dressing room. Overnighting is also possible in the lean-to shelter, a tent or a caravan.
The Koskentila Estate is very suitable for organizing different kinds of classes, meetings, happenings and parties.
Meals are served when ordered in advance.

Different kinds of fishing trips are organized to lake Kyyvesi. This big lake (133 km²) with its 400 islands is well-known for its great pike and pike-perch. On the lake there are also boat cruising activities.
There is also a possibility to go to a special black sauna or take canoeing and Islandic horse riding trips.
