| 1864 |
The
old lumber building was renovated and got a wooden cover with a New Classic style. |
| 1860's-1900 |
Thw
family Pursiainen kept the shop. |
| 1935 |
Olli
and Emilia Röksä took over the farm attached to the shop building and established a shop
on 14th December 1935. |
| 1939-44 |
During
the Second World War the building acted as a hospital for fever patients. |
| 1963 |
Johannes
and Sirkku Röksä took over the shop tradition and started as enterpreneurs. In the same
year the current shop keeper Jouko Röksä was born. |
| 1960-70 |
There
were totally four shops in Kirjavala village during this period. |
| 1993 |
K-Röksä
was now the only shop in Kirjavala village.
The Shop renovated and got more space. |
| 2000 |
New
centennial for the village shop. The opening day was on 1st January 2000 and the first
customer was Sirkka Eronen, who was awarded with flowers. |
| 2003-4 |
Another
large construction project and modernisation for cooler facilities which now are the best
in the area. Our customers have noticed the renovation with larger air conditioned
facilities. |
| 2005 |
K-Extra
Röksä celebrates its 70 years within the same the family. The third generation leads the
shop into the next decade. |
