Linnakatu Street in Savonlinna
Linnakatu near Olavinlinna castle is a glimpse to how Savonlinna looked like decades ago. It is one of the few preserved wooden building areas still left in Savonlinna.

Beautiful wooden houses which nowdays host cosy cafeterias or classy restaurants and galleries.

You can also visit nearby Riihisaari museum where you can see how the city looked like in a old days and see many historical steam boats.

In Savonlinna you can take steam boat trips with a decennium old steamships.
