This bastion built by the Swedish
army on 15th century to the Russian border is a beautiful castle from
the Finnish medieval hostory. During July each year the castle holds an international Opera Festival. It might be difficult to get the tickets, but if you are lucky you will be enjoying the high quality opera performances. On 29. July there is a free entrance to the castle. It is the day of St. Olav which is castles knight's holy saint. |
