Meillä on Ruovedellä, Mustajärven kylällä mehiläistila.

Myymme vain ja ainoastaan puupesissä ja puukehillä tuotettua hunajaa myös suoraan tilalta. Olemme Suomen ainoa mehiläistarhaus, joka ei käytä mitään torjunta-aineita tai hoitoteknisiä toimenpiteitä Varroa punkin hävittämiseksi.

Lundenin Hunaja is a family beekeeping business located in Ruovesi 90 km north from Tampere in central Finland.

We produce three types of honey: Most of our honey is typical finnish mixed honey from rasberry, various clovers, rape and fireweed. Smaller amout comes from forest apiaries, this honey is darker and with stronger taste. Buckwheat -honey is a one-flower honey we have been harvesting small amounts recently, too. As beebreeders we have concentrated in breeding the varroa resintance in the Buckfast bee. Whatever bee race you use in Finland, Buckfast bees, Primorski bee, Italian bee, Carnica bees, they all have to survive here in the latitude of Alaska.

Mini-Plus pesissä kasvatetaan ja arvostellaan emoja. Tänä talvena ne saavat uuden Suomen olosuhteisiin suunnitellun pohjan.

Queen rearing and evaluation is made in small nucleus colonies. This winter they will get a new bottom specially designed to cold weather.
