On behalf of myself and the rest of the Committee, I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for your support of the Branch throughout last season. Sue to success of the Club on the field we find ourselves in the envious position of looking forward to playing in Europe once again. So now is the time to dig our your passports and make sure that they are valid for travel throughout Europe. Remember many countries insist on there being a minimum of 6 months left on your passport from the date you are due to leave the country. We are now looking forward with optimism to the coming season and trust that you will again wish to support the team in their quest for glory.
As you will realise, Branch Membership is renewable annually. This season's Membership Fee remains at £7.50 for Adults and £2 for Children up to 16 years of age and Senior Citizens. Out of that fee, LUSC Executive take £3.50 towards central funds and the remainder goes towards the cost of running the Branch.
In common with other years, any adult member submitting their renewal prior to the date of the AGM, will be eligible to pay a reduced Membership fee of £6.50 (Adults). Since the Junior/Senior Citizen Membership had been reduced to £2, sadly there will be no further discount on that fee for early payment.
In a continued attempt to recruit new members to the Branch, we will again be offering existing members a £1 voucher for every new member introduced. These vouchers will be welcomed as payment towards any Branch activity or event. To qualify for the vouchers you should make the Branch officials aware at the time the new member enrols.
To gain access to the Supporters Club matchday facility at the ground next year all members will need to be in possession of their cream photo ID card and a current season membership card. Every member MUST hold a photo ID card, if you did not renew yours last season please make sure that you send in your new passport photos with your membership renewal and I will get a new card issued to you.
This season, Leeds United will continue to operate the Away Travel Membership card (Striker Card). Forms will be available from Leeds Utd for you to complete and send in for processing. Please allow as much time as possible for these cards to come through as we are reliant on Leeds United to issue them.
The Branch will again be operating coaches to all Leeds United away games next season at very competitive prices. Match tickets will be obtained via Leeds United for everyone travelling and they will be issued on the coach. Bookings will be accepted at Branch Meetings, on away match coaches, or on the Travel Organiser's answering machine on 0113 2869755. Pick up points will be at Leeds Central Bus Station (by the markets) and at the main gates Elland Road.
Hopefully you will have a good Summer and will be looking forward to the new Season with renewed optimism.
