| Band lineup: Ken Hensley, vocals, keyboards and guitar Eirikur hauksson, vocals and guitar Ken Ingwersen, guitar Sid Ringsby, bass Willy Bendiksen, drums Ilkka Korjus's Hammond organ got a real good ride in the hands of Ken Hensley. As typical in 70's we heard many long solos and Hensley's playing was excellent. Eirikur Hauksson who is from Iceland sang most of the songs and he turned out to be a very good singer. Eirikur who was born in Iceland in 1959 is a well known heavy musician both in Iceland where he was born and also in Norway where he currently lives. He represented Iceland with a song Valentine Lost in Eurovision Song Contest in May in Helsinki. Eirikur was the favourite of the Finns. He was close in getting to the finals but got maximum points from Finland. He has participated in Eurovision Song Contest twice before representing both Iceland and Norway. The other musicians in the band are Norwegians. |

![]() Ken and his local assistant Heikki Kyllästinen at the press conference. In the press conference Ken briefly introduced his concert setlist, but didn't reveal all the Uriah Heep songs they were going to perform. His favourite Uriah Heep line up was the one that recorded Demons and Wizards: David Byron (vocals), Mick Box (guitar), Ken Hensley (keyboards, guitar) Lee Kerslake (drums) and Gary Thain (bass). In addition Ken also discussed enthusiastically about Esperanza Street, a foundation he founded together with his wife Monica. Foundation helps handicapped and poor people. This seemed to be very important for Hensley. According to him many people are willing to help in their speeches. Deeds are more important to him. |
|
|
Concert setlists consisted of half of
Hensley's solo works and half of Uriah Heep songs. Below is the setlist
and in parenthesis the original album release and year). |

He also thanked for the great audience. Hensley writes about his trip to Joensuu in the Live Reports section of his homepage. He wasn't satisfied with the stage monitors. Everything else seemed to gone well. |
